Grand Hotel from 1897 is Odense's city hotel located on the high street, only 500 meters from the train and bus stations, as well as attractions for the whole family. The hotel is divided into two unique buildings. The historic main building from 1897 and the modernist wing from the 1950s, reflecting the design tradition of the time with clean lines, and functional design.
At Grand Hotel, you will find a restaurant, bar, and breakfast buffet, as well as a fitness center, two large halls, and six meeting rooms, perfect for conferences, social gatherings, parties, and concerts.
We offer 8 different room types, ranging from standard to Junior Suite, spread over 135 rooms. All rooms are individually decorated and vary in size and appearance.
For parking during your stay at the hotel, please refer to the many public parking spaces around the hotel. Please note that due to their age, the historic buildings er not suited to people with disabilities, people with mobility difficulties. First Hotel Grand also does not offer accessible toilets facilities.
Avoid unnecessary parking tickets. Park, register and pay in accordance with the rules and regulations of your chosen parking establishment. Please note that you will be checked out automatically after 24 hours, after which you need to register again.

If your room is ready before 16:00, you may have access to the room earlier. If you wish to check out later than 11:00, please contact reception. Additional costs may apply.
Cleaning with respect for the environment.
To reduce our environmental impact, The Grand Hotel no longer offers automatic cleaning for guests staying more than one night.
If you require cleaning during your stay, we are happy to offer this service at no extra cost, which can be arranged at the reception before 11:00 PM the day before.
Bring your dog
We know that your dog is your best friend and an important part of your family. At First Hotel Grand we welcome both you and your best friend upon request - an extra fee of 200 DKK will apply.
We kindly ask that dogs are kept on a leash during your stay. Additionally, we request that you do not bring your dogs into our designated dining areas.
