Environmental policy and efforts
The hotel does not currently have an official environmental label, but we work every day with our own environmental policy.
Part of our work for a better environment is that we segregate waste such as:
- Coloured and clear glass
- Combustible waste
- Corrugated cardboard and recycled paper
- Plastic, metal, glass, and porcelain
- Batteries and light sources
We have also installed energy-efficient showers and toilets with two flush options in our hotel rooms.
All our hygiene and cleaning items are in dispensing bottles, and we have replaced all lamps with energy-saving lamps or LED lights.
All our appliances are energy-rated, and all rooms have new energy-efficient triple-glazed windows.
We do our own laundry and always use environmentally labelled cleaning agents. We have also required all our suppliers that all purchases must have some sort of labelling.
We buy food and groceries ourselves in the shops about two to three times a week. In this way, we generate very little food waste.
The hotel is a Garni Hotel where only breakfast is served.
