Tips on hiking tours with a guide

An easier hike directly from the hotel to the Paradis lift that takes you up to Varvsberget. Enjoy the view over the city and hike along a part of the High Coast trail. At Hörnsjön, you can choose to have dinner by the fire, with or without a cook.

The hike is possible from April/May to September/October.

The excavations at Arnäsbacken tell the story of life during the late Iron Age and the exciting transition period when we became Christians. After an easy hike through the spruce and pine forest up to the rocky terrain on Stranneberget, we are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the valleys.

Just five kilometers from the center of Örnsköldsvik lies the wilderness around Bergsjön.

Here you can enjoy an exciting journey through time in beautiful nature with great views. The guide will talk about traces from different times: the Stone Age seal hunters and mysterious rock carvings and tell you about the world's largest land uplift. Large boulders on rocky terrain are some of the traces left by the inland ice.
